Initial Client Consultation
A comprehensive meeting to learn about your goals and potential functional issues. We meet on-site to conduct a review of the space, take measurements, define your style goal, and discuss possible color schemes.
Project Proposal
Following our consultation, we will create a customized Fee Agreement for your consideration. This will be tailored to your specific needs incorporating your ideas, the Scope of Work, the proposed stages required to deliver your project from concept through construction to completion, as well as budget, our design fees, and terms and conditions of the contract.
Concept Design
Addressing the areas we discuss during our initial consultation, we will prepare and present a comprehensive Concept Design closely aligned with your vision and personal aesthetic. This will include multiple considered plans indicating proposed layouts, representative images of design inspiration, finishes, fixtures, preliminary furniture selections, 2D sketches, and physical samples of finishes and soft furnishings.
Design Development & Documentation
We will further develop and resolve the design and provide detailed documentation including plans of interior spaces. We will work with you to select, document, and provide written specifications for all hard surfaces and finishes including flooring, cabinetry, bathroom fittings, paint or wallpaper, window treatments, light fittings, and hardware.
Contractors
The detailed plans and specifications will be sent out to our approved contractors for costing and a comprehensive budget analysis will be completed for your review and approval. We will assist you to review the contractor’s agreements and appoint your perfect contractor.
Construction & Inspection
This is where the vision comes to life. We will perform the role of Project Advisor and will coordinate the construction process to ensure that your new space conforms in every respect to the approved Scope of Work and approved documentation.
Furnishings
We will coordinate off-site manufacturing such as custom cabinetry. We will also oversee the delivery and inspection of all furniture and accessory purchases, implement furniture placement, and final styling of all accessories and art.
